15th Birthday Concert for Friends of Christopher Columbus Park on August 23rd

It’s the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park 15th Birthday Party and you’re invited! Join in the fun to celebrate 15 great years with an incredible free concert by the U.S. Air Force Rhythm in Blue Jazz Band. It all happens on Tuesday night, August 23rd 6-8pm on the Christopher Columbus Park park lawn. There will be cake, really good cake by Modern Pastry in the shape of the trellis and Columbus! Also, Rose Cupcakes from Lulu’s will be available for all to enjoy.

Mayor Martin J. Walsh will be on hand to help FOCCP celebrate its first 15 years.  When the Band performance is ended, Mayor Walsh and President Joanne Hayes-Rines will cut the cake.  Please join in singing, “Happy Birthday.” FOCCP hopes all of our friends and neighbors can join us as we look forward to our next 15 years caring for the Gem of the North End and Waterfront: Christopher Columbus Park.
