2. Notable News Today!

Greenway art cost big money. The Boston Herald says a group called the “Greenway Whistleblowers” made up of past and present volunteers and staff members has issued a report on the high cost of the Greenway’s public art programs, notably last year’s Echelman exhibit. Read more.

Team USA lost 4-0 to Argentina in the Copa America semifinals on Tuesday night. It was a good run for USA men’s team, but Lionel Messi was just too much. More at ESPN.

Spotted in the North End: Jim BelushiOver the weekend, Jim Belushi went to dinner at Trattoria il Panino while in town to film Showtime’s reboot of “Twin Peaks.”  More on his visit and the show at, The Boston Globe

3. On this day, June 22nd in History:

  • 2011: Boston gangster Whitey Bulger was arrested outside an apartment in Santa Monica, California, after 16 years on the run.
