Boston Fire Department reported that call box 1241 was struck this morning at 6:20 a.m. for a fire in the utility room in the basement at 274 North Street, a 5-story brick apartment building. BFD stretched one line and knocked down the fire. Power was cutoff to the building displacing the current residents.
The North End Friends of St. Francis House held their annual flea market and bake sale on Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, 2013 to benefit the Kneeland Street homeless shelter.
