Hearing on “Just Cause Eviction” Mayor Walsh and the City Councilors are debating a proposal that would control evictions and fee increases in rented condos as well as all non-owner occupied properties and all 5 unit and larger buildings regardless of owner-occupancy. More information.

6:00pm Book Talk: Boston Floating Hospital at North End Branch Library, 25 Parmenter Street
The Boston Floating Hospital: How a Boston Harbor Barge Changed the Course of Pediatric Medicine. The talk will be given by Daniel Bird, Director of Volunteer Services at the Floating Hospital for Children.

Saturday, March 19 – St. Joseph’s Day!
Celebrate St. Joseph’s Day: Did you have your St. Joseph’s Day zeppole? St. Joseph is honored for saving Sicily from famine in the Middle Ages. Many still prepare a traditional St. Joseph’s Table to recreate a Sicilian feast with specialties such as sfinge, zeppole, breads and fava beans.
