Trellis Lights Update at Christopher Columbus Park

Board of Appeals Denies Roof Deck Expansion

North End Public Safety Update: 2 Arrests, 1 Robbery, 3 Larcenies

One of the biggest quality of life issues for neighborhoods is crime activity and the North End / Waterfront continues to be on the lower end of crime statistics in the city. Boston Police District A-1 provided an update on recent neighborhood crime incidents at the February 2016 North End Public Safety Meeting, read the post for the rundown of activity over the past month.

All-Alcohol License Upgrades Granted to Three North End Restaurants

The Boston Licensing Board granted three all-alcohol licenses to North End restaurants. The new licenses are ‘upgrades’ for existing beer and wine licenses. The new all-alcohol licenses were awarded to:

  • Cantina Italiana, Hanover Street (Fiore Colella and Patricia Colella)
  • Mare, Mechanic Street, off Hanover) (Frank DePasquale and Joseph DePasquale)
  • Monica’s Trattoria, Prince Street (Jorge, Frank and Patrick Mendoza)
