North End Against Drugs will be hosting several Family Oriented events over the next 7 weeks. We hope that you will be able to attend as many as you can.
NEAD – Family Dinner/Family Talk
Monday, February 29th at 6pm
This is the first Family Dinner/Family Talk of 2016. It will be held on Monday February 29th at 6pm at the Nazzaro Center. We will have a wonderful Italian family dinner, followed by an educational talk that is appropriate for all ages. This is a Family event, so all children must be accompanied by an adult family member and vice versa. We encourage children to bring their grandparents and siblings along with their parents to this great event. Space is limited so please send John Romano an e-mail at jromano45@gmail.com or see Laurie at the Nazzaro Center to sign up. This event is free. North End/Waterfront Residents and Nazzaro Center members are welcome to attend.
NEAD – Family/Teen Bingo Night
Friday, March 4th from 6:15pm to 9pm at the Nazzaro Center.
This is open to North End/Waterfront residents, Nazzaro Center Members and children who attend St. John and the Eliot Schools. Children ages 7 to 12 need to attend with an adult family member. Teenagers 13 and up are allowed to attend on their own. We will serve pizza, soft drinks and snacks. There will be approx 10 bingo games with great prizes as well as door prizes and a Cover All Finale Game. Cost is $5 per person. Bingo is for the kids and teenagers only. Please see Laurie D’Elia at the Nazzaro Center to pay and sign up. Your spot is only held when you pay. This will be a great fun filled evening for the entire family!!
NEAD – Annual Easter Party
Saturday, March 26th from 10am to 12 Noon.
Take a photo with Peter Rabbit, color Easter Eggs, do an Easter themed craft, have a Balloon Character made just for you. Children of all ages are welcome. Parents must accompany their children at all times. Photos, egg coloring and crafts will be from 10am to 11am ONLY. There will be an Puppet Show at 11am. This event is sponsored by Michael Giannasoli IN MEMORY of his Mother Florence. The puppet show is sponsored by City Councilor Salvatore LaMattina. There will also be Easter Candy and goodies for all the children. Take your own camera to take a photo with the Easter Bunny!
