Theo’s Cozy Corner received the unanimous, 6-0, support for a Wine and Malt Beverages License by North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) members attending the November 9th meeting.

Theo’s has 19 seats and is located at 162 Salem Street. The establishment will now stay open for dinner until 8:30, the closing time on it’s existing license.

NEWNC members supported Theo’s despite complaints by an abutter who owns the upstairs property about a noisy vent fan that he said shakes his apartment.

Irene McSweeney from Boston Water and Sewer Commission (BWSC) presented an update on the North End improvements project at the April North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) meeting.
