Monday, September 14

NEMPAC Private Music Instruction Begins!
NEMPAC takes great pride in providing musical instruction that uniquely taps into the creative talent of each of our students. NEMPAC offers private music instruction in a wide range of instruments including Piano, Voice, Violin, Guitar, Drums, Trumpet, Cello and more! We also offer Semi-Private and Group Lessons. More information.

7:00pm NEWNC Monthly Meeting – Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet Street

7:00pm RUFF Monthly Meeting at Nazzaro Center
The R.U.F.F. monthly meeting will hold discussions on the dog park continue as well as fundraising and City updates.

Wednesday, September 16

6:30pm Preparing for the Rising Tide in Boston’s North End
[North End Branch Library, 25 Parmenter Street, Boston] Julie Wormser, Executive Director of The Boston Harbor Association, will give a presentation on what Boston can expect from rising sea levels and what we can do short term and long term to decrease our risk of flood damage while maintaining our access to the ocean.

6:30pm The Stamp Act Crisis–What difference did it make?* –  The Paul Revere House
Located at 19 North Square, what were the long-term consequences of the crisis? Professor Robert J. Allison of Suffolk University, will discuss the overall significance of the Stamp Act Crisis, how it affected all classes of people in different ways, and how it has been viewed in succeeding centuries. Thursday, September 17

5:00pm Sampling Night at Boston Public Market
New guests and Market regulars will have a special opportunity to explore the Market and taste the bounty of New England as they enjoy free samples, shop, and meet the Market’s farmers, fishermen, and food purveyors to learn about their offerings, learn more.

5:00pm Chess with a Grandmaster at Faneuil Hall Marketplace
Do you consider yourself a decent chess player? If so, come prove your skills against a chess Grandmaster. On the third Tuesday of each month, Larry Christiansen of the Boylston Chess Club will play 25 games simultaneously. This event is first come first serve, so be sure to arrive early to play!

6:30pm North Square Reconstruction Meeting at St. John School [9 Moon Street, Boston]
The Boston Public Works Department would like to invite you to continue to discuss the Reconstruction of North Square.

Friday, September 18

4:00pm North End Senior Pride Day at Christopher Columbus Plaza
Please join City of Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh and State Representative Aaron Michlewitz for a night of appreciation for our Seniors and all they do for our neighborhood. The event will include music by Street Magic, BINGO with prizes, barbecue, raffles and giveaways, view the event post.

Sunday, September 20

2:00pm Family Celebration at Armenian Heritage Park
Join us for this wonderful afternoon celebrating traditions through music and dance with the Greg Krikorian Ensemble and Dance Instruction with Apo Ashjian, Founder and Director, Sayat Nova Dance Company of Boston.
