The Opening Ceremonies at the 96th St. Anthony’s Feast did not disappoint the hundreds of devotees that gathered Friday night on Endicott Street. The gold-adorned statue of San Antonio emerged to the faithful crowds under the haze of confetti and streamers. A blessing by Fr. Antonio of St. Leonard Church was followed by a short procession before the statue was placed in its feast chapel for the weekend festivities.
The “Feast of all Feasts” is organized by San Antonio di Padova da Montefalcione, Inc., also known as the St. Anthony’s Club. Check out the new street decorations on Endicott Street in the photo gallery! (Photos by Matt Conti.)
