The U.S. Coast Guard Barque EAGLE, “America’s Tall Ship” has returned to Boston Harbor and is docked at Charlestown Navy Yard Pier 4 this weekend. Sunday is the last day to tour the EAGLE (10am-7pm) before she sets sail again.

First Tall Ship of the Summer Arrives in Boston Harbor

The Spanish tall ship, Juan Sebastian De Elcano, arrived on a rainy Monday through Boston Harbor. The four-mast topsail schooner is the 3rd largest Tall Ship in the world. Hundreds of local residents and tourists from around the country came out on Saturday for the 4th of July Family Fun Day Celebration at Christopher Columbus Park organized by the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park. It’s been great Fall weather to take walks unless you are trying to go on the Harborwalk section near the U.S. Coast Guard station. Adam (@ConciergeBoston) tweets this photo and wonders why this part of the Harborwalk randomly closes.
