07/06/15 ~ 10:30pm
A victim reports that he was walking on Salem Street toward Hull Street when he was pushed from behind by an unknown male suspect into the middle of the street. At this time the victim was struck by an unknown operator of a black Cadillac SUV which stopped for moment then drove off. The unknown suspect also fled on foot. Victim transported to MGH by his mother with neck and shoulder injuries.
The older I get the more I say: I don’t understand!
Jack, it’s a different world than we grew up in.There is a total lack of respect & consideration toward others.Look what happened in downtown Boston a few days ago a young woman[who probably should have not been walking the streets in the first place] pushes a 72 year old to the ground in broad daylight resulting in the old womans death. Of course there is the heartbreaking story of the child thrown in the ocean wrapped inside a trash bag.It’s getting so that I cant watch the news anymore.
Yes I was born in the 40s the 50s were great, everything is relative. But I believe we are being desensitized to violence the past couple of years. I think about my Grand children! My thoughts.
