North End Against Drugs – RECENT HAPPENINGS
NEAD recently held a few family events. Do to the generosity of our Corporate sponsor NSTAR, NEAD sent 30 Family members to the Red Sox Game vs the Los Angeles Angels for a discount price. 50 Family members also visited the recently completed BIG APPLE Circus at City Hall Plaza. These tickets were donated to NEAD by Mayor Martin Walsh.
“We are grateful to Mayor Walsh for his continued support of NEAD and our important programs for youth and their families” stated NEAD President John Romano.
NEAD also helped defray the cost of lunch on the mountain at the Nazzaro Center’s recent family weekend ski trip at Killington Vermont. Each family member attending received $20 at the mountain from NEAD to help pay for lunch and snacks – an expensive endeavor at Killington Ski resort.
