9:30am Mayor’s Coffee Hour at Christopher Columbus Park
The Neighborhood Coffee Hours give residents a unique opportunity to speak directly with Mayor Walsh. Through these discussions and a suggestion box at each site, Mayor Walsh looks forward to hearing how the City of Boston can improve upon local parks, public areas, and city services. All participants will enjoy coffee and breakfast treats provided by Dunkin’ Donuts and fresh fruit from Whole Foods Market. View the event post.

11:00am Free Carousel Rides on the Greenway
Thanks to the Highland Street Foundation, Free Fun Fridays is back with free admission to 70 amazing museums and cultural venues, 7 sites each week for 10 weeks this summer! They’re kicking off the summer of fun at The Greenway Carousel from 11am-1pm with free rides for all!

6:00pm Donna Summer Memorial Roller Disco Party at City Hall Plaza
The second annual Celebration of Summer to honor Boston native Donna Summer will feature a free roller disco event at City Hall Plaza from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The event will feature other Boston natives including DJ Kon of Dorchester, Elisa Hamilton, creator of Dance Spot Boston, Frieda Fries of Jacques’ Cabaret and the Boston Derby Dames roller derby team. Donna Summer died on May 17, 2012 at age 62.

The Boston Harbor Community Church invites you to a special Fathers Day Service with our guests from Boston Teen Challenge Men’s Program. Come and hear inspiring stories of hope & freedom from life controlling addictions as well as special music from the choir.
