North End Student Performs at Massachusetts Education Theater Guild Drama Festival

Nicholas Benning of the North End, a senior at Boston College High School, competed as a member of BC High’s cast and crew in this year’s One Act play, Once Upon A Midnight, in the Massachusetts Education Theater Guild Drama Festival on Saturday, February 28.

The students, along with Technical Director Mrs. Janet PetitBon, traveled to Manchester-Essex High School in Manchester, MA for the 12-hour preliminary round. BC High competed against seven other schools and was one of over 100 schools across Massachusetts participating in the festival. The group was also joined by students Emma T. Will of The Woodward School and Laurel Grozzo of Archbishop Williams High School; senior PJ Leblanc of Scituate and junior Ryan Stack of Waltham took home individual awards for excellence in acting!
