Street Sweeping Resumes April 1st

Boston Public Works has announced that mechanical street sweeping resumes citywide on April 1, 2015.

Don’t get ticketed or towed! Look at the posted street signs for the specific day and time.

Note that the City has extended street sweeping to include the 5th week of each month.  For example, if your street is normally cleaned on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, your street will be cleaned an additional time if there are five Tuesdays in the month.

Posted schedules, parking restrictions, and enforcement procedures are in place including ticketing and towing of illegally parked vehicles.

In the event that Public Works decides to cancel street sweeping and parking enforcement for weather related reasons, notifications will be sent out by e-mail to NO-TOW subscribers (see below) or you may contact the Mayor’s 24 Hour Hotline for updated information at 617-635-4500.
