North End Music and Performing Arts Centers (NEMPAC) is partnering with the Boston Landmarks Orchestra for a special Children’s Italian Music Concert at the Hatch Shell on August 5th. Youth singers of all ability levels are invited to participate. We will NOT turn down any student due to program costs. This is an exceptional opportunity and we want children living in Boston to be able to take part!
As part of the Vocal Arts program, the children will attend workshops July 27 – 31 to learn singing techniques. This will include quality of tone, ear training, group singing and intonation. There will also be a focus on Italian language and diction. The Music Director from Boston Landmarks Orchestra will join us during the week of workshops for choral instruction. Children will also be given two (30 minute) private voice lessons.
