It’s been a slow grind of recovery in the North End / Waterfront from this winter’s record snow. Dangers remain such as icicles from above and the slick sidewalks below, many of which are still single file only. It has been especially difficult for seniors and those physically challenged. Forget about getting around with a stroller or wheelchair. This week will see the removal of parking space savers, but many cars are still completely buried. Adding to the list of concerns, street trash is blowing around with no mechanical sweeping in sight. And, watch for those special Easter eggs in the form of residential trash bags as the snow piles start to melt. Here are a few scenes from around the neighborhood this weekend.
