Events: Meetings on Home Sharing, 2024 Olympics and Public Safety, Patriots Super Bowl Parade


Congratulations to our very own New England Patriots! The Super Bowl is sure to be the talk of the week. Details for the celebratory New England Patriots parade will be determined on Monday. We will get you the details!

6:30pm Meeting on Home Sharing (AirBnb) at Copley Library 700 Boylston Street
The City of Boston is holding a community meeting to understand residents’ views on the home-sharing industry, such as AirBnb, Homeaway, and Flipkey. The meeting will be in the Commonwealth Salon from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

This meeting is open to the public and is attended by Boston Police from Area A-1.

6:30pm Public Meeting on 2024 Olympics at Suffolk Law School, 120 Tremont Street
The city will hold it’s first public meeting on the Boston 2024 effort to host the Olympic Games.

Saturday, February 7

10:00am Film: Bread and Tulips (2000) at North End Library [25 Parmenter Street, Boston]
Film: The Pirandello Lyceum presents a film showing of Bread and Tulips (2000) – Pane e Tulipani. After being forgotten in a highway café during a bus trip, a housewife decides to start a new life by herself in Venice. Reception at 10 a. m. with refreshments. Film showing at 10:30 a. m, the cost is free, for an adult audience, runtime: 114 min.
