The Haymarket Project: Part IV – Fall

The fourth and final part of The Haymarket Project covers the Fall season with stories from the diverse vendors in Boston’s Haymarket. This episode includes interviews with:

The year-long project captures the varying atmosphere of each season at the market taking viewers on a unique tour of this centuries-old market. The Haymarket Project is produced in partnership with the Haymarket Pushcart Association as part of Historic New England’s Everyone’s History initiative.

  1. Matt, thank you for carrying the outstanding four part series The Haymarket Project by Historic New England. As one of the vendors noted, Haymarket is a continuing celebration of the most valuable, living, and still ongoing market which contributes so positively to life in greater Boston. Haymarket has been and remains a successful bridge merging the ever changing old and new Bostons. We can well use its past to help guide our future.

  2. Thank you very much for this series. As a native Bostonian who has lived in Cambridge for the past 31 years, I am a huge fan of the Haymarket vendors. I go there every week I’m in town, usually on Saturdays. The perform a wonderful service for the city, and I am very glad you covered their work.
