St. John School Hosts Ice Skating Party

DSCN0933St. John School celebrated the start of National Catholic Schools Week with our first annual family skate night at Steriti Rink. The skating party was a huge success with a turnout of over 250 family members as well as our teachers and administrators.

Catholic Schools week is a celebration of Catholic education in the United States. St. John School will observe National Catholic Schools Week with a Liturgy, family skate night, open house, talent show, school spirit tag day, special lunches, board game day and teacher appreciation day. Through these events, we will remind people of the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.

We wish to extend a very warm THANK YOU to all our generous sponsors who contributed to our ice skating party including Ducali Pizzeria & Bar / Philip Frattaroli, Marriott Residence Inn Charlestown, Patsy’s Pastry Shop, Pinkberry, Steriti Skate Shop / Fred White and Whole Foods Charlestown.

Included below are some photos from the event. Click on this link to visit our Facebook page to view all of the photos from the fun night.

Thank you to everyone that laced up their skates and came out for our ice skating event. It was really awesome seeing everyone having a ton of fun!
