Gloria (Baldassarre) Rosato, age 91, of Boston’s North End, passed away on Nov. 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Rosato and the cherished daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina Baldassarre.
She is survived by her loving family: 2 daughters, Barbara Marino and her husband Gus of Boynton Beach, FL and Angela Sgarano and her husband Frank of Holliston, MA; 2 sons, John Rosato, Jr. and his companion Mary London of Saugus, MA and Joseph Rosato and his wife Joanne of Boston, MA. She also will be missed dearly by her 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Andrew, Lena Dolchimascolo, Ralph, Rudolph, and Anthony.
The family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 8:30am-10:30am at the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St, Boston. A funeral mass will follow at 10:45am at Saint Leonard Church, corner of Hanover and Prince St, Boston. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
