John Romano to Receive Community Service Award at St. Joseph’s Feast on October 3rd

Announcement from the St. Joseph Society:

On Friday, October 3, 2014, the St. Joseph Society will open its 89th Annual Feast outside its headquarters at 467 Hanover Street.

At 7:00 p.m., the Society will hold an awards ceremony honoring John Romano with a Community Service Award in recognition of his many years of Dedicated Leadership and Commitment to the important civic and charitable organizations benefiting the North End.

John is the current President of NEAD, North End Against Drugs and serves as the baseball and soccer coordinator for the NEAA, the North End Athletic Association. He is also a past President of NEMPAC, the North End Music and Performing Arts Center and the past Grand Knight of the Ausonia Council Knights of Columbus #1513.

All are welcome to attend to thank John for his service to the community.
