420 Commercial St. – Nicole Griffith has applied to the Zoning Board of Appeal to change the legal occupancy of the premises from gas station to offices and restaurant with seasonal outdoor seating and take-out. Variances are required since the property is located in a Multifamily Residential/Local Services Subdistrict where restaurant use is forbidden, and restaurant with take-out is forbidden where the total gross area of the restaurant exceeds 1,000 square feet; otherwise, a take-out restaurant would be a conditional use.
