NEAA to Honor Domenic Campochiaro at June 27th All-Star Game

The NEAA will be honoring Domenic Campochiaro at the NEAA All-star game on Friday June 27th at 6:30pm at Campochiaro Field at Langone Park.

Dom has volunteered as a coach and mentor for over 50 years. This past year he has stopped doing the clinic program.

Personally, Dom was my coach in Babe Ruth and also was an opposing coach when I was in Little League, he is a great man and poured his heart and sole into baseball over the years and also truly cared deeply for all of the kids he taught.

Dom touched the lives of tons of kids from the neighborhood and it would be great if people could stop by to say hello and share in this honor for such a great person.

The NEAA is looking for sponsors for this game. There will be pizza, soft drinks, chips, cookies for all. Players hats, special awards and a raffle. Donations of any amount can be made to the NEAA and mailed to:

Over 175 people filled the Nazzaro Center Gym to celebrate the NEAA’s Youth Baseball and Soccer Programs.   1. Dom was my son Jesse’s first coach in clinic , way back when. From there he played baseball in grade school, captain in high school, and on to Brandeis where he played for four years. The fundamentals were taught. Dom was strict, but loving! I will always remember “Can of corn”.they don’t get much better. Thanks Dom, for all you did and continue to do.
