Meet the Democratic candidates for State-Wide Office at the Nazzaro Community Center, (30 North Bennett Street) in the North End on Wednesday, May 7, at 6:30PM and Wednesday May 21, 2014 at 6:15PM.

Additional candidates will be announced

Candidates will be allowed to deliver brief introductory remarks followed by a few questions from the committee members and audience. We will announce both evening’s schedule once we confirm with the invited candidates.

The candidates will be vying for the endorsement of State Democratic Convention to be held in June in Worcester. Candidates who receive the requisite number of votes at the party convention will go on to appear on the ballot for the State Primary Election in September. The winners of the primary election will be the Democratic Nominees for their respective offices and face off against the nominees of the other political parties in the final election in November.

All residents are welcome to attend. Boston’s Ward Three consists of the neighborhoods of the North End, Waterfront, West End, Financial District, Beacon Hill, Downtown, Bullfinch Triangle, South End, Chinatown and Leather District.
