Greenway Carousel Opens for 2014 Season [Photos]

The Rose F. Kennedy Greenway Carousel opened on Friday for its first full season. (View the August 2013 Grand Opening.) The outer wrapping has been taken off and the animal characters appeared to have survived the winter. The carousel will be open on weekends through Memorial Day weekend. During school vacation week and after Memorial Day, it will be open everyday. Tickets are $3 per ride and $25 for a book of ten tickets.

In another sure sign of Spring, the daffodils previously planted are starting to bloom.
