North End Restaurant Week – Sunday Through Friday
It is that time of year again, the 5th Annual North End Restaurant Week 2014 brought to you by the North End Chamber of Commerce at participating restaurants. Week 1 runs from March 30th through April 4th and there will be another opportunity from April 6th through April 11th to catch the deal. View Post

Anniversary of Tony DeMarco Win of the World Welterweight Title
On April 1, 1955, Tony DeMarco captured the world’s welterweight boxing title in a technical knockout of Johnny Saxton in the 14th round of their title bout.

6:00pm Boston Public Market Project Meeting at North Bennet Street School, 150 North St.
The Boston Redevelopment Authority is hosting a public meeting at the North Bennet Street School to discuss the Boston Public Market, an environmentally sustainable year-round public market that will be located in the current vacant ground floor of the MassDOT Parcel 7 facility.
