On Saturday, March 1, three weeks to the day that Eric disappeared, his family, friends from Boston and New Jersey, and Boston city officials will gather for a candlelight vigil, near where Eric was last seen.  There will be a short speaking program, and yellow ribbons will be handed out.  Following a moment of silence, participants will march to the Aquarium, Eric’s favorite place.

Munsell, originally from New Jersey, lived in the North End.  He graduated from Boston University and had been working for General Electric when he disappeared after celebrating his birthday with friends.  Cameras caught several images of Munsell, the last site of him captured near 255 State Street.

  1. So sad. Such a shame. As a father myself, I can’t even imagine what his family must be going through… 🙁

    1. I won’t give up hope. I pray everyday for his safe return. Never met the young man but he graduated high school with my daughter so this hits home. My candle will be lit at 11:30 tonight and my yellow ribbon sits waiting for good news.

  2. This is so sad and I really hope this young man is found safe. I’d like to hear what follow up has taken place at Market, the bar he was at. I think the public should get answers about his treatment. With so many college kids at bars in Boston this is a real risk.
