MULLEN JOSEPH (BFD) of South Boston, Jan. 21, 2014. Son of the late Martin H., Sr. (Ret. BFD) & Alice “Sis” (Keefe) Mullen. Husband of Karen (Laurinaitis) Mullen. Loving father of Michael of Woburn, Heather & Christine of South Boston. Kathleen & husband William McDermott of Dorchester. Beloved “Papa” of Adria Mullen. Loving brother of Martin & wife Lisa Mullen of Quincy, Maureen & husband James Harvey of Quincy, Dennis (Ret. BPD) & wife Kathleen of South Boston, Jacqueline Toland of Dorchester, Brian, Thomas & Daniel (BFD) of South Boston & the late Paul (Ret. BFD), James & John Mullen. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 A.M. in Gate of Heaven Church. Interment services are private. Member of Local 718 BFD. US Marine Vietnam Veteran.
