The North End RUFF team continues to be active despite the colder weather. Members met this week and spent about 2 hours cleaning up the Richmond Street dog run. With all the use the park has seen, the gravel has shifted from the back to the front, creating bare spots. With shovels and buckets, the dog owners leveled out the gravel.
They also cleaned up the the leaves that collected under the fence, and weeded the plants put in by neighboring business supporter Cirace & Son. The group hopes this pre-winterizing effort will help out once the snow starts to fall to keep the park as useful and safe as possible during the winter months. (Photos courtesy of RUFF.)
