  1. Another example of the younger generation’s lack of respect and poor parenting. Who decides to mouth off and/or attack a cop?!?! Growing up, cops were second to only my parents on the list of people not to ever disrespect. Both of them can give you a beating that you deserve and nobody will ever, ever judge them.

  2. Well we know it was no north ender,,,sadly this is what transpires down when others think they r above all,,25-30 hrs ago there would be no need for police to be called,,if somebody got out of hand it was handled and never repeated,,,like mv stated younger people lack respect,,,

  3. I agree with MB & Mario, far too much disrespect, but people only get away with, what you allow
them to get away with. Our State Troopers at the Airport walk around with Dogs, and if anyone
was to ever assault a Trooper you can bet your life, the dog would attack, and rightfully so.
These Dogs would let anyone sober up when you see them in Action. I think we should have laws
that protect our Boston Police, as they do with State Troopers, and let our Police enter the
Neighborhood with Police Dogs. This is a very simple, cut & dry, black & white situation, if you
don’t want a dog to attack you, don’t assault a Police Officer or cause Problems in the
Neighborhood. I think you will clean the Neighborhood up pretty fast when word gets out that
Police will be coming down with dogs, and then give the Landlord such a hefty fine, he will think
twice before renting to these troublemakers. I know the City and/or Police might be concerned
about lawsuits, but that is up to our Politicians to have laws that protect our Police.

    1. Truth seeker, cops are armed w/ guns, mace , nightsticks & handcuffs & are trained to handle situations like this incident. I agree that some of these kids have no respect but the article clearly shows that these punks did not live there & two were not even old enough to drink so I would hold the tenant whose name is on the lease as accountable as the 3 arrested.

      1. MICHAELD,

I am fully aware of what the cops carry, but the DOGS are frightening, and I think
more effective, but to each his own.

  4. No disrespect truth seeker but if you think that if these punks who are drunk out of their minds would have behaved differently because they knew that cops have dogs I’m afraid your sadly mistaken.

    1. MICHAELD, I know there is no disrespect, and I also, mean no disrespect, when I give
      me opinion.

In my heart and soul I truly believe you can sober these trouble makers up real fast
when they see these dogs in action.

If you can possibly look at some very old Martin Luther King & his followers films, these
poor people were attacked viciously by Police Dogs for defending their civil rights, they
didn’t bother anyone, it was pitiful, what these people went thru, but it paid off, big time.
They fought for what they believed in, and also had the Kennedys behind them.

Trust me when I tell you the Dogs will have a big effect, and it is worth giving it a try, the
North End became a War Zone not only for residents, but our Police, what a disgrace.

Look at these films and let me know how you think it will go over down here. I think it
      will be a Smash Hit.
