Philip Griffiths, President of the Boston Harbor Islands Alliance, presented on October 23, 2013 to the Downtown Waterfront Municipal Harbor Planning Advisory Committee at City Hall.
The BHIA is the non-profit arm of the National Park that makes up the Boston Harbor Islands, with operations also at the pavilion on the Greenway and through ferries out of Long Wharf.
In addition to reviewing the recent activity and projects on the Boston Harbor Islands, Mr. Griffiths also addressed upcoming opportunities and challenges within the planning district including the configuration of the Long Wharf terminal and the 2015 expiration of its existing ferry contract.
