The ABCD North End/West End NSC (NE/WE NSC) wanted to honor all those who made their June fundraiser a success. They continued the fun on the rooftop of their location at the site of the former Michelangelo School, which currently houses the senior center and 71 units of HUD 202 housing and is home to nearly 100 seniors.
The ABCD North End/West End NSC honored the restaurants who made the evening possible with plaques, and also presented citations to the politicians who have lent their efforts for the third year in a row to Buona Sera. They are Senator Anthony Petruccelli, Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Vice President of the City Council Sal LaMattina, and City Councilor Michael Ross.
It was a balmy evening to watch the sun set and Italian and classical music serenaded everyone in the background. Guests dined on antipasti, quiche made by a volunteer for the food program, and an assortment of Italian sweets and nibbles. A perfect end to a perfect event! Grazie to all!
