On Wednesday, July 31 at 6pm, the choir of St. Mary’s Parish, Maldon, England will be performing at Old North. This is a mixed choir of adults and children whose music is rooted in the rich tradition of Anglican choral music. They are visiting the US at the invitation of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Malden … Maldon, England’s namesake town. We are delighted to welcome them to Old North for what is sure to be a special concert.
St. Mary’s choir has sung Evensong at Westminster Abbey and St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Past summer tours have taken them to Italy and Bavaria in southern Germany … and now to the US.
