In what looks to be a false alarm, a quick response by the North End’s Engine 8, Ladder 1 was seen on Salem Street with ladders reaching to the rooftops about 2:00 pm on a sweltering Saturday afternoon. Janine Coppola catches the action with these photos.

Boat Fire at Boston Waterfront Marina at Long Wharf

A boat named “Equity” docked at the Boston Waterfront Marina adjacent to Long Wharf went on fire twice Saturday afternoon.
