By a vote of 27 to 1, the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) supported conditional use zoning approval for VPNE Parking Solutions, 181 N. Washington St., to extend use of the 7-space outdoor parking lot for up to one year.

The parking lot is located on the former service station property at the intersection of Endicott Street and North Washington Street. This item was previous tabled at the April 2013 NEWRA meeting after public safety and parking violations were noted. In the interim, more information was collected from the parking company as well as from the Boston Transportation Department.

  1. id love to see some kind of undercover operation of these guys. they throw cars in resident spots, on curbs, in handicap spots and in fire corner spots. that 7 vehicle lot is more like 20 – 7 on-site, 10+ more scattered across the neighborhood.
