Neighborhood View of the Day: Wisteria Blooms in Christopher Columbus Park

Wisteria does not necessarily bloom every year so we’re lucky to see it hanging in all its glory this year from the trellis at Christopher Columbus Park. The FOCCP Horticulture “Hotties” Volunteers trim and take care of the winding vines including the bark knots that have their own intricate patterns. The ladies also are actively working on the roses in the park that should be making their flowering debut soon! Thanks to Meredith Piscitelli for the photos.
