It was Opening Day for the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) on Saturday, April 27, 2013. This year’s event included four games at Langone Park on Commercial street with a pizza party and ceremony in memory of lifelong North End resident, Carmen “Tilly” DeMartino. The NEAA Junior Dodgers wrapped up a strong regular season by finishing 9-2 during the RBI season. The Junior Dodgers were led by do-everything shortstop Rob Pagliuca. Skate Date 2013 featured a fundraising event by the North End Athletic Association and North End Against Drugs during free public skating at Steriti Rink on Commercial Street.
