For May 2013, this month’s wallpaper calendar photo recognizes the “Boston Strong” and “North End Remembers” signs from the remembrances and vigils after the Boston Marathon bombings. The photo shows the famous Prado with the base of the Paul Revere statue surrounded by lit candles. Of course, feel free to make your own wallpaper from another image in our photo galleries. If you are into Spring flowers, check out the daffodils.
How to make this your desktop or mobile wallpaper background:
- Select the image size that best fits the resolution and proportions of your screen or mobile device. This may require a bit of trial and error.
- When the slide comes on your screen, select View Full Size on bottom-right (this is important),
- Right-click on the image and choose “Set as Desktop Background” or “Use as Desktop Picture” or something similar depending on your specific system.
- For mobile devices like the iPhone or iPad, you usually can tap and hold to “Save” the photo. Then, in the Photos App or Settings, select the “Wallpaper” option (on iOS, this is under the “Send To” icon). You can often adjust the position of the image on the screen before saving it as your wallpaper.
