It is our pleasure to wish distinguished North End resident Nancy Caruso, a very happy 85th birthday!
Boston Fire Department responded to an alarm on Wednesday night around 7:00 pm at the Mariner Building, 300 Commercial Street. Essentially closing the street, the fire trucks extended their ladders although it did not appear as though residents were evacuating. The street was cleared about 15 minutes later.
To the delight of neighborhood children (and adults), Santa flew in from the North Pole by helicopter landing on the North End fields at Puopolo & Langone Parks. A festive Christmas Parade followed with marching bands, singers, horses and Santa moving through the neighborhood along Commercial Street, North Street and over to Hanover Street. Click Read More…
