FASTFRAME, the local custom picture framing store, is hosting its annual Art Contest for Kids. Peter Crossley, owner of FastFrame at 116 Lewis Wharf, will be hosting the contest for children, grades 1 through 5, to create a piece of art based on the theme: “My Super Power”.
Artwork will be accepted in the store for the contest through April 6th. The winning artist will receive a Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon DVD, available February 26, 2013 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The winning piece of art will be sent off to the Fastframe Corporate Office in Newbury Park, California, to be judged in the national contest.
The national winning artist will receive a $250 American Express Gift Card and a Scooby-Doo prize pack. An additional $250 American Express Gift Card will be presented to the national winner’s school for art supplies.
If the store winner is not chosen as the national winner, the winning artist will still receive the artwork back framed for free, courtesy of Peter Crossley and donated framing materials from Nielsen Bainbridge.
