LuLu’s Sweet Shoppe Plans to Offer Homemade Ice Cream

Sandra Russo, owner of Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe, at the February 26, 2013 neighborhood meeting accompanied by Attorney Daniel Toscano.

Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe at 57 Salem St., plans to introduce homemade ice cream adding to its current decadent selection of cupcakes, candy and baked goods.

Owner Sandra Russo, represented by Attorney Daniel Toscano, brought her take-out license application this week to the Zoning, Licensing and Construction Committee meeting of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

When previously on Hanover St., LuLu’s offered soft serve ice cream but Ms. Russo said this time she will offer 4-5 “crazy” flavors of homemade ice cream. No other changes to the store are anticipated with licensed hours remaining from 10 am through 10 pm.
