What’s Happening In The North End / Waterfront:
Friends of Christopher Columbus Park, FOCCP, is having their monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 8th, 6:30 pm at the Mariner’s House, 11 North Square. Plans for 2013 will be discussed, including the ambitious project to redesign, irrigate and enlarge the circle near the Marriott Long Wharf entrance on the walkway from the Greenway to the harbor. The Greenway Conservancy will also present plans on the progress and installation of the custom Carousel on Parcel 14, across from the park.
The NEWRA Parks and Open Space Committee will also meet on Tuesday, January 8th at the ABCD Center, 1 Michaelangelo St. (this one time) at 7:00 pm.
