As he has done for many years, Nick Varano and his family spent the afternoon visiting with children at The Italian Home for Children in Jamaica Plain.
They brought toys for every child at the home, visited the classrooms and spent time with the kids spreading some holiday cheer.
Nick Varano is the owner of Strega on Hanover Street and the Famous Deli on Cross Street in the North End.
