Old North’s Piccoli Regali (Little Gifts) Starts 5th Year of Helping North End Residents

The Old North Church begins its fifth year offering Piccoli Regali (Little Gifts). There will again be four teams, with each having 4 to 5 members, with each team serving one Saturday a month. The teams include ONC parish members, some of their friends, neighbors and co-workers, as well as interested North End residents. The funding for the program comes from The ONC Gala which will be held again this year on Saturday, February 9,2013. Contact congregation@oldnorth.com or call 617-523-6676 for more information.

The Piccoli Regali program is open to all North End residents, starting December 1, 2012 and running through March 2013. A small bag of donated food is provided to those in need along with conversation. Just stop by Saturday mornings (non-holidays), 10am-12:30pm, at the parish house, 193 Salem St., next to the church.

Old North Receives Grant to Trim the Trees in the Prado

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department has awarded the Old North Church an $11,000 grant to trim the trees in the Prado behind the church.
