What’s Going On Sunday, October 20, 2012:

The North End Health and Beauty Alliance (NEWHBA) group hosts the inaugural Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Renegade Tour. Registration begins at 12pm and the ride at 1pm. Meet at Hordon Health at 294 North Street. See the flyer.

At 1:00 pm, North End Against Drugs and the Improv Asylum host the belated “Back to School Party” at the Improv on Hanover Street. See the post.

Hundreds came out for the unveiling of the Tony DeMarco statue at the corner of Cross and Hanover Streets on Saturday. See the photos.

U.S. Senator Scott Brown hosted a fundraiser on Hanover Street at Stanza dei Sigari. See the photos.

Under the radar:

The Conservation Law Foundation intervenes in the Long Wharf legal case, favoring the arguments of the North End Ten toward protecting the open space under State law rather than allowing the BRA to license a restaurant. See the post.
