Despite the soggy conditions, the Friends of the North End Parks braved the weather today for a volunteer Greenway cleanup on Parcels 8, 10 and 12. The burgeoning FOTNEP group appears to be gaining momentum as they were reported to have the most volunteers participating in the clean-up effort, sponsored by the Greenway Conservancy as part of National Public Lands Day. There was much weeding, pruning and general clean up in the North End Parks as part of the effort.

North End Greenway Parcels 8, 10 and 12 are located on Cross Street between Hanover Street and Haymarket. The Friends invited all North End residents to take part in this fun and worthwhile project. The Conservancy supplied brooms and trash bags.
