The North End Music & Performing Arts Center and the Old North Church Foundation collaborate this Winter Season to co-host a 2012-2013 Winter Concert Series.
The concerts will be held at the Old North Church, on the third Friday of each Month, October through March, with the exception of the December Holiday Concert schedule for Sunday, December 9th.
NEMPAC and ONC’s purpose for these concerts is to provide great affordable and accessible live concerts which will promote the growth of performing arts in our community. These concerts are open to all ages and to the general public.
Concert Schedule:
- Friday, October 19th , 8:00pm Cambridge Chamber Singers perform Early Acapella music from the 15th and 16th Centuries.
- Friday, November 16th, 8:00pm Redline Brass Quintet joins us for an interactive concert featuring the works of Leonard Bernstein
- Sunday, December 9th, 5:00pm Holiday Concert presenting Handel’s “Messiah” with Orchestra, Soloists, and chorus’s from both ONC and NEMPAC Women’s Chorus.
- Friday, January 18th 8:00pm String Quartet presents Chamber Music
- Friday, February 15th 8:00pm “Amore” Opera Concert: An Evening of Opera Scenes, Arias and Duets all with a focus on Love.
- Friday, March 15th, 8:00pm An Evening of Live Jazz!
