What’s Going On Saturday, August 18, 2012:
It’s Day 3 of the 102nd Fisherman’s Feast happening on North, Lewis and Fleet Streets. Saturday highlights include a NEMPAC play of the history of Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca at 2pm. Singer Linda Rose goes on stage at 5:30pm, DJ Sal Bartolo at 6pm, Franco Corso at 8pm and The Hitmen at 9:15pm. We caught up with the North End’s “Fury of Fleet Street,” Tony DeMarco, on Friday at the Fisherman’s Feast where he was signing his book, “Nardo – Memoirs of a Boxing Champion.” DeMarco is the former World Welterweight Boxing Champion and received the Italian-American award last year at the feast. (See the video).
