A reader responds to our event posting on “Old Ironsides” setting sail under her own power on Sunday, August 19, 2012 for the second time in 100 years.

Aha … Thank you for the story on the USS Constitution and its sail on Sunday. That must be why all the Navy Chiefs were marching through Christopher Columbus Park on Friday. One told me they were from our ships all around the world. I am enclosing a picture of the commemorative T-shirts they were wearing. Love ’em.
